Felt very well treated. Very clean and professional physiotherapist. Very confident in what I was being told. Easy clinic to find and close to home. Daily exercises were given now it is up to me to achieve them.

Physical Therapy and massage Desperate to avoid surgery as the only solution to repair a median level tear in the supraspinatus ligament in my right shoulder I searched the internet for a suitable physiotherapist in Exeter and by chance came upon Michael Otto’s details amongst a number of others. Somehow I was always drawn back his name and so made an appointment. I was not mistaken in my choice. Michael works in an unusual, intuitive and sensitive way and I was amazed by the results. Of course, he gave me exercises to do but they were gentle and easy to carry out. In combination with a cortisone injection guided into the right place using ultrasound under the NHS and Michael’s unravelling of numerous muscle knots in my back, shoulder and arm I have full use of my arm once again and am pain-free. Early on he assured me that surgery was not necessary. I am so glad I found him and then listened to him as well.

I had frozen shoulder and I couldn't move my hand more than 45 degrees. I've seen Ruth for few weeks and now I can move my hand to 180 degrees. Her treatment was amazingly very good. Thanks Ruth.

I had problems with my knees which were causing me to be "careful" exercising. I wanted to make sure there was nothing serious going on and that I would cause no more damage skiing.I was given a very thorough and professional examination by Sarah, and some massage, together with some exercises, which have helped considerably. Excellent and thoroughly. Recommend.

I had pinched nerves in my back causing pins and needles in my arm, this made driving uncomfortable. I had a thorough consultation followed by massage. I was able to move more freely following the session and I felt the benefits immediately. I will be monitoring my progress and should I need further treatment I would be happy to book another appointment.
