Plastic Surgery Clinics & Doctors in Ottawa

I have struggled with weight my entire life. I had decided after a horrible situation that I had to do something about my weight. After two years of seeing specialists, I would have gastric bypass surgery. I had it done in Toronto because they did not offer it here in Ottawa at the time. Surgery went well and I am literally half the size I was. I was very proud of what I had accomplished but I was not aware of the difficulties that occurred when someone looses that much weight. I suffered with extremely bad yeast infections and abseses from the excess hanging skin. The smell and bleeding were too much for me and I fell into a depression for a bit. I went to the Ottawa Clinic after my family doctor suggested I speak to a surgeon to see if something could be done. I met with Dr. Chitti in September if 2016 and he suggested I have something like a tummy tuck but without doing the muscles and some lipo in my hips.Dr. Chitti made me feel at ease with my decision. His entire staff has been so professional and take the time to hear your concerns without making you feel rushed or silly for a question. January 06,2017 I had the surgery and was off work for 3.5 weeks. The surgery went very well and I felt so confident with Dr. Chitti taking care of me. The staff at Queensway Hospital were also phenomenal. The scar is healing very well and I could not ask for anything better. I no longer have a large amount of skin hanging and there is no more smell of infection around me. I will recommend The Ottawa Clinic and Dr. Chitti to anyone who is looking for a plastic surgeon.
