Plastic Surgeon Consultation

I have struggled with weight my entire life. I had decided after a horrible situation that I had to do something about my weight. After two years of seeing specialists, I would have gastric bypass surgery. I had it done in Toronto because they did not offer it here in Ottawa at the time. Surgery went well and I am literally half the size I was. I was very proud of what I had accomplished but I was not aware of the difficulties that occurred when someone looses that much weight. I suffered with extremely bad yeast infections and abseses from the excess hanging skin. The smell and bleeding were too much for me and I fell into a depression for a bit. I went to the Ottawa Clinic after my family doctor suggested I speak to a surgeon to see if something could be done. I met with Dr. Chitti in September if 2016 and he suggested I have something like a tummy tuck but without doing the muscles and some lipo in my hips.Dr. Chitti made me feel at ease with my decision. His entire staff has been so professional and take the time to hear your concerns without making you feel rushed or silly for a question. January 06,2017 I had the surgery and was off work for 3.5 weeks. The surgery went very well and I felt so confident with Dr. Chitti taking care of me. The staff at Queensway Hospital were also phenomenal. The scar is healing very well and I could not ask for anything better. I no longer have a large amount of skin hanging and there is no more smell of infection around me. I will recommend The Ottawa Clinic and Dr. Chitti to anyone who is looking for a plastic surgeon. I can not say enough about this team.Thank you so much for helping reach my end goal.Thania My experience was paramount. I never felt like another number or dollar. The staff truly listens to your wants and fears. They make sure you are truly confident in your decision.The clinic itself is very clean and staff very friendly and accommodating when you bring others to hear what procedures you are going to have done. The staff also answers questions your family member may have. They realize the operation you are about to have affects you but also the loved ones around you.

Dupuytren's Contracture Treatment

I had treatment to straighten a finger affected by Dupuytrens - the clinic was very accommodating re appointment arrangements - staff were pleasant & helpful throughout. Physician made me feel very comfortable & procedure was carried out painlessly. Follow-up was totally great & results were excellent.Would definitely recommend this clinic (and have done so). This clinic was recommended to me by a close friend who was a hospital nurse in Ottawa for years. She was right on - I am returning for another similar treatment.I have full confidence in the medical & support personnel.

Fractional CO2 Laser Treatment

CO2 LASER resurfacing at the Ottawa Clinic:My first impression of Dr. Cholé Ward was that her self-care and appearance was impeccable and her demeanour of locking eyes with me, and calling me by name inspired confidence that she would give me equal care and attention. Her credentials were self-explanatory. Maddi, her medical assistant was exceptional at initially welcoming me and subsequently helping me out of the clinic after my procedure.Nurse Lyne prepared me for and guided me through the procedure while Nurse Audrey was always there for me post-procedure with tips on skin care and advice. The loveliness of this clinic, the personnel, and the perpetual availability of both medical and nursing attention never left me frustrated that I had to deal with anything alone. It certainly was a commitment of resources, time and some discomfort, but the outcome justifies all that. I wholeheartedly endorse this clinic, the procedure and follow-up. Plastic Surgeon Consultation

Oh my goodness, how do I begin to express my gratitude to such a wonderful team at the Ottawa Clinic. In August of 2011, I was diagnosed with tubular type invasive ductal carcinoma. I opted for a full mastectomy of my right breast. The following year I had a scare in the left breast which made my decision very easy to have that one removed as well. In 2014 I met with Dr. Nodwell to discuss the process of implant reconstruction. I must say, everyone who works at the clinic goes over and beyond to make you feel welcome and that you are special. I have gone through both the expander and implant stage and I am now waiting on some sculpting. I am so happy to date with the results. Dr. Nodwell will work with you until you are happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend Dr. Nodwell to anyone who is requiring plastic surgery. This year I attended s seminar hosted by The Ottawa Clinic called BRA day. It was so inspiring to see all the women who have gone through similar circumstances and see all the happy results due to the Ottawa Clinic. Breast Implants

My treatment was to replace my old implant in one breast, then replace it with a new one , add an implant in my left to make it all look even and then a lift in both. I had this done as my old implant was 34 years old and it needed to be change as over time the implants droop. Mine was in a shape of a half moon and it was quite deformed. I am 53 and wanted this done before I retired in a few years. I dont regret it one bit. They are beautiful and Dr Nodwell was phenomenal! Yes the surgery was expensive but I did my research and they are within the going rate for this type of surgery in Ottawa. I would recommend the Ottawa clinic for this type of surgery to anyone wanting to go back to breasts that are natural, nice and that makes you feel like a million dollars when looking at yourself in the mirror and in clothes!!!! I chose this clinic as it was one of the top 5 in Ottawa. All my visits were amazing. I felt listened to, never rushed and I had many visits just revisiting all my questions and concerns that I had. My first impression of the office, the staff and Dr. Nodwell were very professional, caring and they all take the time to listen and discuss. I recommend this clinic 100 percent. The before and after care was amazing.
