Breast Implants

From the very first correspondence, Dr Nunes da Costa was warm, informative and attentive. I inquired about breast augmentation and specific implants. Instead of giving me an answer like "yes, this is what we do and how much it costs", he explained everything thoroughly. I was impressed. I chose to work with him as a result and was not disappointed. Throughout the whole process, he and his assistant treated me as if they knew me for a long time. They took their time to answer all my questions, made suggestions and recommendations. The consultations and operations do not take place in the same facility, but Dr Nunes da Costa is clear about that. Every location was clean with helpful staff. Even though I do not speak Portuguese, the staff members did their best to ensure I understood the tests, processes and that I was comfortable. With every interaction, I was touched by their warmth and humanity.

Dermal Fillers

Because I’m new to the country and didn’t know anybody, I had to run an online search to find a clinic. This one came up in my search and I had dermal fillers done here. I think the treatment was correctly priced for Lisbon, but I’m not entirely happy with the results. The overall experience was fine, but I do feel like he might have been a bit too rough around my eye area. Don’t get me wrong, the doctor was quite nice and very thorough, but I think he could have been gentler. I have a sense he might be a bit inexperienced. I’ve got a bit of a bump on both of my eyes that wasn’t there before, so I can’t say I’m 100% satisfied with what was done. I doubt I’d go back to this clinic. The staff were very nice, though. The clinic is in a hospital setting - it was a nice setup. I didn’t return for follow-ups or require any aftercare. The overall experience was fine.

I ask that this review is removed. Although the patient manifested her concerns some days after the treatment, she did not return to our clinic for a follow-up, although we offered to see her anytime she wanted, and problably the bumps she complaints about, although very uncommon, could have been solved. I believe that she went to another country. Furthermore, we contacted the patient some time after this, and she said that she was getting better, and that she would return to visit us when she returned. We are still waiting.
