Mr EL Gawad then offers you a two-week cooling off period, according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) in order to consider the options/information and make an informed decision about your care.

You will be given the opportunity of further consultation at no extra charge to assist you in making an informed decision about your treatment.

Following your operation, Mr El-Gawad will always visit you on the ward. Also, a further two follow-up appointments are included.

The full treatment journey, from the first consultation until discharge, is performed exclusively by your surgeon, Mr EL Gawad.

Dr Ahmed Abd EL Gawad is a UK based Consultant Plastic surgeon who visit Cairo on a monthly basis. He is on the UK General Medical Council specialist register as a Plastic Surgeon.

He is also a full member of the renowned British Association of Plastic and reconstructive surgeons (BAPRAS). As well as the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic surgeons (BAAPS). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (RCSEd). Finally he is a member of the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS).

Facelift, Blepharoplasty

On 8th December I underwent a facelift and upper and lower blepharoplasty at Whiston Hospital by Mr El Gawad. My room was modern and well equipped. Before my surgery, the staff were welcoming and did their best to put me at ease. Mr El Gawad came to see me after my surgery to tell me the procedures had gone as planned with no complications, which was very much appreciated. I stayed at the hospital overnight and feel I was looked after very well, the hospital staff were kind and caring and made me feel that nothing was too much trouble. I feel I received excellent surgery and aftercare, at a good price. Mr El Gawad is a highly skilled surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients and the outcomes they are seeking. I am very happy with both the care I received and with the results of my surgery.

Breast Reduction

I always had big breasts but post-menopause I went from a 36dd to a 38g/h cup. Never been able to wear a dress as a size 18/20 top but a 12 in trousers. I hated my profile as my body looked so out of proportion. This year has had cancelled holidays my husband supported me in looking for a reduction. I wanted to stay in the North West due to Covid so began to research a consultant. Price was also a factor in my decision as we had a budget. I came across Mr El Gawad on several sites & having read reviews I rang to make an appointment. I first saw him back in June. He absolutely agreed my breasts were too big but he also after examination that I had an internal hernia & excess skin post 3 pregnancy should also be removed in his professional opinion. He then marked my body what he would do should I opt for both procedures & costs were then emailed. Following discussions And the health benefits these would have I agreed to have the breast reduction, muscle repair & tummy tuck. Due to covid, my surgery didn’t go ahead until early October. I was daunted by such a big surgery but at the same time looked forward to seeing the results. Following my op, I had 2 drains from the tummy tuck for a couple of days. It wasn’t pleasant & for the first 24 hours, I was in a lot of pain. Also my BP was low & sats as my body reacted to the 9k removal. I was closely monitored by the nurses & Mr El Gawad was called out to see me. As my iron was low I agreed to a transfusion which overnight worked making me feel myself again & I was discharged after 3 nights. I knew the risks involved as the comprehensive literature given described possible reactions. I was very much looked after by the nurses & my surgeon. I knew that one nipple was moved with adequate blood flow to it but I needed a graft on my left nipple. 5 weeks on I am healing well & the scars are just fine lines. The graft still has some way to go but is healing from the outside in so all is good. My belly button was also removed as there was too much scared but I have a new one made. I look at myself in the mirror and love myself again. I still have to swell on my torso which in time will reduce wearing the compression garment. The first couple of weeks were tough mainly the muscle repair but pain wise not really noticeable. I started doing things 2 weeks ago again domestically for my children & I am back driving locally. I have wanted this for years and my surgeon making it happen has transformed my life. If your thinking about having this done then I say go for it.

Full Abdominoplasty, Liposuction

I have had the most amazing experience, It took me a long time to find the right surgeon but it was sure as hell worth the wait! Mr El Gawad was my last consultation and from the minute we met he was incredibly helpful he knew more than any surgeon I had spoken to, he was so confident he could give me the body I had dreamed of for years! I had a full abdominoplasty with muscle repair (8cm gap) I had a hernia and liposuction along with mentoplasty! I had 4 children in the space of 5 years my tummy had been through alot. Mr El Gawad’s PA is also super helpful and so lovely! Nothing was ever a problem and I had a million questions before during and after, pall mall was amazing it was clean, the nurses were lovely. Mr El Gawad even helped me to and from the car on my follow up apt, this is so kind he literally goes above and beyond! I am so happy with my results they are amazing!! Plastic Surgeon Consultation

Mr El Gewad is a fantastic surgeon! I have a condition called lipoedema and there is only a handful of doctors in the UK who know about this condition who perform it. Due to the NHS not providing surgery for this condition which is painful and debilitating, I had no choice but to go private. I visited a few surgeons in the UK but felt most comfortable with Mr El Gewad. He has performed two surgeries so far for me and the difference to my health is fantastic! I know longer need permanent pain medication and my confidence has grown! I can finally wear clothes I never thought possible, and I have already dropped 3 dress sizes. I am due to have more surgery by him in January to complete my transformation. I would recommend anyone to Mr El Gewad to anyone. He is friendly, attentive, understanding, communicative, knows what he is doing and is one of the nicest professional people I have ever met.

Blepharoplasty

I arranged an out-of-hours consultation due to my own work commitments and was so pleased that they worked flexible hours. I was seen by specialist nurse Debbie, who explained the procedure to me. I then got booked in for a date that was convenient for me to allow my recovery. On the date of my procedure (blepharoplasty for my hooded eyelids), I met Jenny ( nurse) and Mr El Gawad. He was very charming and professional, and both Jenny and Mr El Gawad made the whole experience very calming as I didn’t know what to expect. I found this clinic by googling the procedure in the Liverpool area. I was very pleased by how kind, professional and efficient all the staff were. It was also a very clean and well-run service. I also received a follow-up telephone call within 24 hours to ensure I was not having any problems and to give them a call if I had any concerns.A big thank you to everyone who helped make my experience the best it could be

Breast Lift

Absolutely amazing! I had consultations at other clinics prior to visiting Dr El Gawad. They told me I needed a breast uplift however, Dr El Gawad raised his concerns with me having a breast uplift and recommended breast augmentation. I chose to go with Dr El Gawad and I was right in doing so. He listened to exactly what I wanted and my boobs are now amazing! The scarring is hidden and minimal plus I’ve never felt more confident! Rachel is absolutely amazing and would do anything for you. The staff at Oakland hospital really looked after me and put me at ease. If I was to have surgery again, I’d definitely go back to Dr El Gawad.

Breast Implants

After researching extensively, I had 3 initial consultations with the highest-rated breast surgeons in Cheshire. The first surgeon was very kind and attentive. He listened to what I wanted, I tried on various sizes of implants (however he gave me the wrong shaped implants to try on) and I chose a size that the surgeon just went along with (420cc - what he considered my maximum implant - in hindsight this would have been far too big for me because I wanted a small 'look').The second surgeon I met with was highly established in an affluent area. He seemed very blasé about my needs, I left feeling like I'd had a very disappointing, impersonal, disinterested consultation that I'd paid for. Mr El-Gawad was extremely attentive to my needs, he listened 100% to all of my queries, wants, needs and worries, he welcomed discussion about any images I had seen that I'd liked for myself, he educated me on all of the technicalities of implants and he was very clear about which implant/sizes/profiles would and would not fit well on my body frame. His professional care and consideration were EXCELLENT.After my consultation, Mr El-Gawad rang me (from abroad!) to ask me what I had decided & if I had any further questions. His secretary was very professional, organised and accommodating too.I am truly grateful that Mr El-Gawad was my surgeon. Tummy Tuck

After lots of researching around a tummy tuck. I went out of my way to find Dr El Gawad. From the second I got in contact with him he made contact with me immediately. I was given his number so I could contact him directly too. My first consultation with El Gawad was great, after attending several with other surgeons, I instantly knew I wanted to go through with him. His reputation is amazing and so is his after pictures. He is on the other end of the phone when needed and nothing seems too much for him. I was told in other consultations my belly piercing would stay! Dr El Gawad told me he can remove it. This is exactly what he did. I am currently 4 days post-op and waiting to have my dressings off on Wednesday. I would 100% recommend El Gawad, I am happy I went with him and excited to see my full results!
