Renata put me at ease straight away. She is kind, warm and very empathetic. She’s also very insightful and gave me really valuable tools to help manage my anxiety and to be my most authentic self. I would highly recommend Renata as as therapist.

"Made me feel like I am really being listened to"

I suffer from Depression and a lack of confidence. I have attended 12 sessions with true horizon so far. The clinic is a very relaxing environment. Lisa has really made me feel like I am really being listened to in a non judgemental way. I can't recommend Lisa highly enough. I tried a number of counselors in the past but never felt I was making progress. With Lisa I was able to open up and explore my issues, thanks to her I am starting to feel like I am getting my life back on track!

I find Laura very easy to talk to and open up to. She's a great listener and not a bit judgmental. It wasn't an easy thing to admit to myself that I needed help, but I wish I had done it ages ago. She's very understanding and worked with me to help me through my dark time. I've since come through it but continue seeing Laura, as it's great to know that she is there. The clinic is in an ideal location for me and easily accessible. Great location, as I am also based close to the city center. Relaxing atmosphere.

"He taught me to flourish as a human being"

John transformed my life. I worked with John over a long period of time. When I met John, I was lost, trapped in a very unhappy, toxic and abusive relationship with no self-esteem. John has a very targeted approach to supporting you to heal and transform your life. He helped me put things in place so I could learn to live my life free from addiction and trauma. At the time, I was in a very bad situation and was overcome with addiction. Not only did he help me put the pieces of my life back together and teach me how to put one foot in front of the other. He taught me to flourish as a human being; he taught me my worth. Today I am 8 years clean and sober, and I work as a college teacher, which I absolutely love. I no longer look for approval from others or get myself into situations I shouldn't. John gave me my life back, and I will be forever grateful. I am seeing Mary weekly and have had 4 session so far. I was a bit anxious as I have not had counselling before. It was a pleasant surprise, she is very down to earth and understanding. I should have done this years ago. It is really making a difference in my life. I would highly recommend this counselor and her service.

"I can see a great improvement in my own behaviour"

I recently had some counselling sessions with Aidan for panic attacks. Aidan is very understanding, approachable and most of all very easy to talk to. He makes you feel at ease right from the beginning and does his utmost best at all times to reassure you and help you understand your own thought processes. I was very apprehensive about counselling in general in the beginning as I feared it would be very formal, all note taking and analyzing everything I did. However this is not the case as to me, it just feels like I am having a nice chat. I think this is why you can feel at ease right from the beginning with Aidan.From having these sessions I can see a great improvement in my own behaviour, which I am delighted about. Aidan has helped me to control and monitor my panic attacks, which I'm very happy to say have decreased immensely since starting the sessions with him. I would highly recommend Aidan to anyone considering counselling. Was chosen as part of an Employee Assistance program offered by my Employer. The place is easy to find being in Dublin City Centre, not far from St Stephens Green where the sessions take place on the top floor of the building.

I attended Healing Minds for a number of months last year. I was going through a very dark time and felt isolated and alone. I was met in a very warm and welcoming way with no judgement. I found it very safe to share and explore due to Brendan's gentle and empathic approach. I would highly recommend his practice as it helped me through the darker stages of my life.I highly recommend Brendan and his way of working with vulnerable people. Fantastic, warm and friendly attitude and made me feel very relaxed. Easy to talk to and an impressive way of approaching complex issues.
