As living on the Isle of Wight chose to consult Mr. Gheorghiu at The Mottistone Unit. The consultation was carried out within a convenient time frame and allowed me to make a well-informed decision. The Operation was carried out a fortnight later, with an overnight stay.After surgery, I had some discomfort for about 5 days. Pleased to say, that six weeks later my original pains have gone and recovery is going well. The cost was very reasonable and the outlook positive. I have a problematic right elbow like tendinitis. I browsed through the private Clinics chose Manchester arm clinic. I phoned up and an appointment was made to see a Professor Watts in 2 days. At my appointment I was eager to have a more substantial repeat Cortisone injection. Iv had 2 previous, the first had good results lasting 23 months the second which at the time I thought was an inferior injection faded after 6 months. Time for a change - at my appointment I found Professor Watts a pleasure to communicate with. I was informed of the risks of repeat Cortisone injections and offered other types of treatment. I refused Physiopherapy which Iv previously had so Professor Watts guided me towards [Name redacted] [Treatment name removed] therapy. Far less risk of developing secondary problems like ruptured tendons, ligament damage. At this pleasant appointment Professor Watts advised I have an MRI scan of the arm before proceeding further. This was arranged for the following day and by the end of the week if the finding dictate a [Name redacted] injection is appropriate, I'll of had this injection done.
