1

Overview & Scope

ClinicBooking publishes price information provided by independent clinics and healthcare providers ("Providers") and, in some cases, calculates indicative ranges for consumer discovery. We are not a medical provider, insurer, broker, or billing agent, and we do not determine or control final charges. All clinical and financial decisions rest solely with you and your chosen Provider and, where applicable, your insurer.

2

Nature of Prices: Estimates vs. Final Charges

  • Informational only: Any prices shown on ClinicBooking are non-binding estimates for comparison and education.
  • Subject to change: Final charges depend on clinical evaluation, complexity, comorbidities, facility and anesthesia time, device selection, geography, and aftercare needs.
  • No guarantee: Publication of a price does not constitute an offer, guarantee, or promise of service at that price.
  • Written quotes: Only a written quote directly from your Provider governs your payment obligations.
3

Price Components (Taxonomy)

4

How Prices Are Displayed (From, Range, Package, Per-Unit)

"From"
Meaning: Minimum observed or stated entry price; most patients will pay more.
Complex procedures with high variance.
Range
Meaning: Indicative low–high band for typical cases; excludes outliers.
Common elective procedures with predictable spread.
Package
Meaning: Bundled components disclosed by Provider; check exclusions.
Medical tourism packages; fixed-scope offers.
Per-Unit / Per-Area
Meaning: Price per syringe/cc/unit/area; total depends on units used.
Injectables, laser passes, hair grafts.
5

Insurance, Network Status & Prior Authorization

  • Cosmetic vs. medically necessary: Purely cosmetic procedures are generally not covered. Mixed cases require medical necessity review.
  • Network status: Any "accepts insurance" or "in-network" labels are Provider-reported and must be confirmed directly with your plan.
  • Prior authorization: Where required, authorization is typically the Provider's responsibility; approval is not a guarantee of payment.
  • Patient responsibility: Deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, and non-covered services remain your responsibility.
6

U.S. "Good Faith Estimate" (No Surprises Act)

If you are uninsured or not using insurance, you may be entitled to a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of expected charges before your appointment. You can dispute a bill that is substantially higher than your GFE. Ask your Provider for details.

  • GFEs are issued by Providers, not ClinicBooking.
  • GFEs are estimates, not a contract; complications and scope changes can affect final charges.
7

Currency, Taxes, Surcharges & Exchange Rates

  • Currency: Prices display in local currency or in your selected currency for convenience; conversions are indicative only.
  • Taxes/fees: VAT/GST/sales taxes, regulatory fees, card surcharges, or service charges may apply and are typically excluded from displayed estimates unless stated.
  • Exchange rates: If you pay cross-border, your bank/processor sets the rate and may add fees.
8

Promotions, Discounts & Financing

  • Promotions: Limited in time/quantity; eligibility criteria apply; cannot be combined unless stated.
  • Financing: Third-party financing is between you and the lender; APR, fees, and credit checks may apply.
  • Gift cards/coupons: Subject to issuer terms; some services may be excluded by law or policy.
9

Accuracy, Updates & Error-Correction

Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their posted prices. We may remove or correct obviously inaccurate listings and periodically ask Providers to review entries.

Case-by-case

International/Regional Transparency Notes

  • EU/EEA/UK: Consumer-protection, price-advertising, and medical-advertising rules vary by country. Providers must ensure compliance (e.g., UK CMA price transparency guidance; national medical advertising codes).
  • Canada/Australia/NZ: National and provincial/state rules may restrict discounts, testimonials, and before/after advertising; Providers must comply.
11

Important Limitations & Disclaimers

  • ClinicBooking is not a party to your medical or financial agreement with a Provider.
  • We do not guarantee insurance coverage, reimbursement, or outcomes.
  • Any ServiceScore™ or review content is not a price guarantee and should not be used as a substitute for a clinical consult and written quote.
